DataBank was founded 10 years ago by a group of Australian and Israeli entrepreneurs with a deep understanding and experience in the data protection industry.

Today, with 23 employees, DataBank services over 800 companies throughout Israel managing over 400,000 backup media items. DataBanks’ esteemed client base includes market leaders in all sectors (multinationals, high tech, major banks, government organizations, insurance companies, and legal and accounting firms).

In 2007, DataBank inaugurated a purpose built, state of the art media facility in the city of Petach Tikva (10 km from Tel Aviv). The media vault is located three floors underground and is equipped with a robust and high level security system, CCTV, gas fire suppression systems and environmental controls.

DataBank has been accredited with ISO9001:2008 certification for “Secure Storage, Transportation & Management of Magnetic Backup Media” by the Israel Institute of Quality Control and the Dutch Accreditation Council (RVA). This accreditation is renewed half yearly following a serious external audit of processes and controls.
